Youth Settlement
Programs
Free programs and activities are provided to youth new to Canada, supporting them with building their connection with their new community. Programs are run at local schools and/or at CNH.
Current Programs

Youth Settlement After School Programs
Running Tuesdays at two local elementary schools taking time to play games in the gym after a long day of school.
When: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
Where: Norquay (Tuesdays) and Renfrew (Wednesdays)

Youth Settlment Girls Group
Open to any newcomer youth who identify as girls (and allies). Have discussions on various topics and challenges many girls and newcomers are facing in the neighbourhood today.
When: Thursdays, 4pm - 7pm & Saturdays 4-6pm
Where: Collingwood Neighbourhood House


Youth settlement Career Mentorship
Get together with other youth to get involved in the community to develop leadership skills, get tips on writing resumes, and make friends.
When: Thursdays, 4pm - 7pm
Where: Collingwood Neighbourhood House
Youth Settlement Gym session
Stay fit and active on Saturdays and meet other newcomer youth in the neighbourhood! You can also explore different ways to stay healthy during quarantine.
When: Saturdays, 4:00pm - 6:00pm (Session 1) & 6:00pm-8:00pm (Session 2)
