COLLINGWOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE
KIDS KITCHEN
for youth aged 12-18
Kids Kitchen is a take-home cooking program for children and youth between the ages of 12-18. Each week, participants will be provided with ingredients for a weekly cooking activity. During the week, participants will connect online with the program facilitator for a cooking demonstration and to discuss the dish and cooking methods.
WHEN: February 26, 2022 - March 26, 2022
WHERE: Ingredient Pick-Up: Fridays from 5:45pm - 6:30pm at Collingwood Neighbourhood House (CNH). Instructional Demo Session: Saturdays from 12pm to 1pm online on Zoom.
Cost: $50 (5 sessions)

Theme and Menu: Food and the Body
February 26th: The Gut - Ginger Beef (oyster mushroom [vegan option]) on rice and Green Tea
March 5th: The Mind - Grilled Salmon (panko crusted tomato [vegan option]) with turmeric roasted potatoes and broccoli
March 12th: Skin - Home-made pasta with spinach walnut pesto
March 19th: Muscles - Mapo tofu with vegan protein and string beans on rice
March 26th: Whole Body - Nutrient-dense smoothies
*Menu may be changed or adjusted by program instructor as needed
Registration: Download Registration Form (HERE) Fill and return to CNH front desk with program fee by Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 or email Sanjeev at skarwal@cnh.bc.ca by February 23rd to confirm attendance and hand-in form and fee on first pick-up day, February 25th.
