COLLINGWOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE

Hikers

Peer 2 peer

Funded by the Vancouver Coastal Health, peers teach peers about various topics and provide tools to support themselves and the community.

Youth develop skills in public speaking, teamwork, conflict resolution, and mentorship, as well as a greater awareness of health & wellness topics affecting youth in the community.

Peer 2 Peer also hosts the 2SLGBTQ+ All Genders program on Tuesdays, as well as "Real-T" during Youth Drop In hours upstairs in the Program AB room.

Peer 2 Peer Programs

Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health, Peer 2 Peer is a youth-led volunteer program whose primary goal is to improve the wellbeing of youth across the Renfrew-Collingwood community.

Youth participants explore a range of health and wellness topics and develop the skills needed to share what they learn with other youth and have a positive impact on their community.

All Genders Group

WHEN: Wednesdays from 4-8pm

Drop-in, youth-led support group for gender diverse youth and allies.
Workshops, outings, activities catered to 2SLGBTQ+ topics or skills youth want to learn

Community GROUP Projects

WHEN: Tuesdays TBD

Highschool Youth create a health and wellness presentation in whatever format they'd like, with the help of an adult mentor.

Youth present their projects at the Youth Showcase in May/June

Coffee

Real T Fridays

WHEN: Fridays from 3:30-8:30pm

A place to chill, eat snacks and play boardgames during Youth Drop-In at Youth Centre

Summer Programs

Starting July 1, Peer 2 Peer continues to host weekly drop-ins for youth at Collingwood Neighbourhood House.
